Blair Dawson is a New York based standup comedian and writer. Working as an ESL teacher in Thailand, she got her start in comedy performing in expat communities across Southeast Asia.
Now rooted in Brooklyn, Blair hosts a sex-positive storytelling competition, U Up?, along with an on-the-street web series, My Dear Friends. What’s more, she’s created a podcast based on the 36 questions that lead to love, Making Love with Blair Dawson. She’s been selected to perform at Gilda’s LaughFest, Floodwater Comedy Festival, The Sioux Falls Sno Jam Comedy Festival, She Makes Me Laugh Femme Fest, The DC Comedy Festival, and She-Devil Comedy Festival. Blair's a cast member in the sketch comedy series Sofa Kingdom and is a contributing writer for The Belladonna, Robot Butt, GOLD Comedy and Little Old Lady Comedy.
Like a good dog, Blair has been trained! She’s studied acting at The Barrow Group, as well as sketch and improv at the UCB Theater.
